Grilled Pizza

As much as it is hard to say it, summer is on its way out. Nick and I are trying our hardest to utilize our rooftop patio until it is closed for the winter. Here is an easy recipe we really like. We stopped at the farmers market to pick up fresh ingredients and then created a mini pizza bar. We hosted my family over for dinner and it was a fun way to allow everyone to pick their own ingredients for their personal pizza. We grilled our pizzas until they were a little crispy and wa-la! Dinner is served. Easy, fresh & fast.
Happy eating!

Ingredients:
Flatbread (we like to buy Naan)
Toppings, personal preference
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Sauce - we used three different types (described below)

We made three different styles of pizzas.
1) Buffalo Chicken Pizza
2) Chicken Pesto with Arugula & Olives
3) Veggies & More Veggies with Farmer's Market Marinara

1) To make the buffalo sauce, we used a mixture of ranch and buffalo sauce (1/3 buffalo to 2/3 ranch).
2) Pesto was made out of a handful of fresh basil leaves, 1/4 cup of olive oil, salt and pepper.
3) Spaghetti sauce we purchased from the farmers market. You can use any pasta sauce.

 Prepare the ingredients.
Do you like my pretty bowls?! I LOVE them (I collect them)!

Top the pizza with desired toppings and sauces.

Grill until cheese is melted and bottom is golden brown.

Oh, so good.
