Dark Chocolate Healthy Treats

One of my favorite things about being off for summer break is the time to spend in the kitchen. Here is an easily yummy snack I made yesterday! I found this idea off of Pinterest (link here Energy Bites) and used what I had in my pantry to modify.

here is what you will need:
Dark chocolate
Trail mix: I used almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, gogi berries and craisins
Parchment paper

All you do is melt the dark chocolate and using a spoon, create oval shapes onto parchment paper (can make these as big or small as you would like. I like bite sized pieces best). Place the trail mix on top. Let treats set. Works best at room temperature so that chocolate doesn't turn funky colors. Enjoy!
